Dear parent / guardian,
As you are no doubt aware, all schools are being advised to allow plenty of ventilation to classrooms to further protect everyone in the room from the possible spread of Covid 19. We are already following these guidelines in Réalt na Mara N.S.
As we move into the colder season, our school will not be quite as cosy as it would have been in previous years. Although we will always aim to achieve a sensible and practical balance between ventilation and room temperature, it seems wise to allow children to wear additional clothing over their uniform in class should they wish.
Our school will not ask parents to buy any specific additional item of clothing. It is entirely a matter for the parent / child themselves and what suits them best.
